Are you passionate about making a real difference in young people’s lives? We are seeking a dedicated Pastoral and Behaviour Support Officer to join a caring and vibrant SEND school. Job Responsibility:

  • Provide high-level support to students and staff in matters linked to student well-being and behaviour
  • Support the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
  • Undertake clerical work to support the pastoral care of students
  • Work closely with staff to promote inclusion, emotional regulation, and positive behaviour

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally within SEND or pastoral settings
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management and safeguarding
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Calm, patient, and resilient under pressure
  • Empathetic, reliable, and committed to supporting young people
  • Provide details for us to complete reference checks before employment
  • Provide an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
