Job Description

Bread of life church is prayerfully seeking a full-time Pastor who is called by God to shepherd his people. The ideal candidate will be a Spirit filled leader who faithfully preaches and teaches the word of God, provides pastoral care, and works closely with the church leadership and brings vision, unity, and spiritual direction.

Job Responsibility

  • Preach, and teach the word of God in a biblically sound, spirit lead manner
  • Provide spiritual leadership and pastoral care to the congregation
  • Shepherd and disciple individuals and families
  • Provide oversight and support for Sunday school, youth, nursery, and other discipleship ministries
  • Equip, encourage, and work with volunteers and ministry leaders
  • Work with church leadership to cast vision and help facilitate church growth
  • Encourage prayer, unity, and spiritual maturity
  • Engage with and serve the local Uvalde community

Requirements

  • Clear calling to pastoral ministry
  • Agreement with spirit filled non-denominational beliefs
  • Strong character, integrity, and servant leadership
  • Ability to lead with humility, wisdom, and compassion
  • Pastoral and ministry experience preferred but not required
  • Willingness to live in the Uvalde area
  • Bilingual preferred but not required
  • 5 years ministry experience preferred but not required
