We are seeking a Paste Plant Operator to join an innovative and award wining company on a full time basis based on varied sites across Australia. Job Responsibility

  • Operation of a Paste Backfill Plant and associated tailings filtration system
  • Sampling paste, tailings, and filter cake product for testing
  • Surface management of the underground reticulation system including flushing and remote actuation of paste diverters for dumping
  • Performing all duties with a priority on all aspects of safety
  • Other duties as directed by Leading Hand or Paste Fill Coordinator

Requirements

  • Experience preferred however not essential as on the job training is provided
  • Current Police Clearance or willingness to obtain
  • Current Manual Drivers License
  • Ability to be in a team whilst maintaining a high standard of work quality and housekeeping
  • Strong work ethic and punctual
  • Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
  • Willing to undergo a full pre-employment medical including an instant drug and alcohol screen
  • Able to work 12hr shifts
