Job Description:

Join our team as a Paste Fill Crew Member at Olympic Dam - a hands on opportunity to be part of a dynamic underground operation. This is a FIFO role with a 14 days on and 14 days off roster and will have a 12 months Fixed Term Contract.

Job Responsibility:

Installation of Paste Reticulation and associated equipment
Operation of underground mobile plant including light vehicles, IT's and flatbed trucks
Paste Wall Construction
Operation of Hand-Held Rock drills
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure proper operation and adherence to safety protocols
Participate in safety meetings and training sessions, promoting a culture of safety and accountability among team members
Working in various capacities both underground and on the surface
Other duties as directed by the Leading Hand or Pastefill Coordinator

Requirements:

Experience underground or in a similar role is preferred
Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a plant operating environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
Current police clearance or willingness to obtain
Strong work ethic and punctual
Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
Smoke free and clean-shaven site
