Job Description:

A specialist passive fire protection contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to manage live projects across the Midlands. This is a delivery-focused Site Manager role for someone who understands how to run sites, control quality and take responsibility for works up to £1m and over. The company is busy, well established and continuing to secure new work. They require a Passive Fire Site Manager to support ongoing growth rather than replace an outgoing individual. Fire door projects form a significant part of the workload, making this an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with strong fire door and compliance experience. The role offers genuine autonomy, sensible regional travel and a consistent pipeline of work.

Job Responsibility:

  • Day-to-day management of multiple passive fire protection projects across the Midlands
  • Act as Principal Contractor on site, ensuring SHEQ, CDM and quality standards are met
  • Deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Manage labour, subcontractors and site activity
  • Focus on fire door installations and third-party accreditation requirements

Requirements:

  • Experience managing contracts up to £1m
  • Confident running live construction sites
  • Fire door experience
  • SMSTS qualification
  • Good understanding of third-party accreditation such as FIRAS, BM Trada and BRE
  • Solid grasp of SHEQ, CDM and Principal Contractor duties
What we offer:
  • Car / Car Allowance
  • Bonus
  • Health Plan membership for you and family
  • Annual pay rise
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Christmas shutdown (additional paid leave)
  • Birthday off
