Job Description:

Are you someone who loves Truck and Van Parts, from upselling to promotions to advising our customers on stock availability and prices and to providing essential support to the workshop technicians to ensure they have the parts to complete their customer jobs? Renault Trucks Felixstowe is looking for a dynamic and experienced Truck/Van Parts Supervisor to push forward the Parts Service whilst working with the wider business to achieve RTC’s KPI’s.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the Parts Department in the most effective and profitable manner by maximizing sales, profit and customer service and reducing costs where appropriate
  • Ensure all Inventory KPI’s are met and sustained
  • Effectively motivate and manage your team in a pro-active and professional manner, in accordance with the Renault Trucks UK / Volvo processes

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in HGV and/or Van Parts Inventory Sales and Stock
  • Proven experience as a Supervisor managing a team
  • Technical awareness
  • Strong IT literacy (MS Office (particularly Excel) ) and dealer system awareness
  • Able to identify different parts using catalogues and systems.
  • Numerical ability to be able to work with part numbers
  • Full UK Driver’s Licence

  • Manage daily parts co-ordination of both internal and stock delivered
  • Update parts ordering system
  • Make sure all parts delivered to the site are checked off against the parts list for accuracy of order, correct parts, quantity, accidental damage and overall quality
  • Ensure all relevant documentation for your department is correctly filled out and delivered to the designated departments on time
  • Carry out monthly stock checks, which reconcile back to usage and suppliers' invoices
  • Monitor and control resources within the parts department
  • Work within internal procedures to achieve targets set out by your line manager
  • Communicate to the Workshop Controller and reception any potential delays to a parts order arriving on site
  • Input all parts delivery information into the Management system, and pass through all paperwork to the accounts department
