Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Parts Supervisor to join the team at Adams Morey at our busy commercial vehicle dealership on Bell Road, Basingstoke. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with strong parts department experience who is looking to take the next step in their career within the HGV or automotive industry. As a Parts Supervisor, you will support the management of the parts department, ensuring efficient operations, excellent customer service, and strong sales performance while maintaining the high standards associated with a leading DAF Trucks dealership.

Job Responsibility

  • Supervise daily operations within the parts department
  • Support the Parts Manager in achieving departmental sales targets
  • Ensure accurate ordering, stocking, and distribution of HGV and LCV parts
  • Provide excellent service to both internal workshop teams and external customers
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure effective inventory control
  • Assist in staff training, development, and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers

Requirements

  • Previous experience within a motor trade parts department (HGV/LCV)
  • Supervisory or senior parts advisor experience desirable
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle parts systems and inventory control
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead a team
  • Good IT and administration skills
