Job Description:

The Parts Stock Clerk will stock parts, pull, pack, and ship parts orders along with other various jobs that happen on a day to day basis.

Job Responsibility:

  • Restocking, labeling inventory, and maintaining stocked shelves
  • Pulling, packaging and shipping of outbound parts orders
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members to help meet department goals and objectives
  • Operate forklift

Requirements:

  • Minimum high school diploma, GED or equivalent school with relevant work experience
  • Must be able to read and follow shipping instructions and secure loads appropriately for shipping, in order to minimize freight damage
  • Self-motivated individual who understands the importance of time constraints
  • Ability to operate forklift and overhead hoist in a safe and orderly manner
  • Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs. regularly and bending, squatting, walking or standing for long periods of time
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Develop work procedures for maintenance jobs with necessary information, including skills, tasks, parts, tools, auxiliary equipment, contractors, and estimated time required
  • Determine required parts/materials on each work order
  • verify parts/materials are available and provide details to MRO buyer to acquire parts/materials as necessary
  • Supervise the MRO Buyer, CMMS Coordinator, and Parts Clerk to ensure all resources are purchased, entered into inventory, and allocated through the work order process
  • Coordinate with the Parts Clerk to determine required parts/materials for all stock items and verify parts/materials are available
  • Coordinate with MRO buyer to identify material requirements, generate purchase orders and required delivery dates
  • Create and maintain standard task list for PMs and frequent jobs
  • Generate a complete 14-day draft schedule (one week fixed, second week tentative) and review with Operations to ensure available trades hours and asset availability
