Job Description

The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position will also support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service
  • Support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks
  • Follow and promote all company customer service programs
  • Promptly greet retail/walk-in customers and assist them in their selection of merchandise
  • Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers
  • Complete assigned company training
  • Provide excellent service to customers calling the store on the phone
  • Accurately maintain and secure the cash drawer
  • Process exchanges and returns for credit
  • Address and resolve customer complaints
  • Assist with completion of daily image maker and planogram updates
  • Perform various daily operational tasks
  • Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment
  • Perform various in-store services for customers
  • Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries

Requirements

  • Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
  • Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
  • Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
  • Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
  • ASE certification (desired)
  • Fluency in multiple languages, Spanish is highly desired (desired)
  • Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service (desired)
  • Driving record must meet the company mandated driving eligibility requirements

Nice to have

  • Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service
  • ASE certification
  • Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
