Job Responsibility

  • Locate, retrieve, and deliver parts required for CAB Core Assembly based on work order and blueprint instructions
  • Review work orders and blueprints to understand required parts and assembly needs
  • Locate, retrieve, and deliver correct parts to Core Assemblers in a timely manner
  • Communicate with Core Assemblers regarding part requirements and build instructions
  • Document part retrieval and delivery to ensure accuracy and traceability
  • Track core orders, including labeling and documenting orders placed on hold
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of parts, components, and materials used in CAB Core Assembly
  • Maintain organization of parts and materials to support efficient workflow
  • Follow all AKG policies, procedures, safety standards, and EMS requirements, reporting issues promptly to supervision

Requirements

  • Must be able to walk (100%) of the time
  • May be required to bend, stoop, pull, push, twist and turn
  • Must be able to lift to 50lbs (70%) of the time
  • Must use safety equipment such as steel toe shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection and gloves
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • Reliable attendance and availability to work the scheduled shift
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle parts safely
  • Ability to read and understand detailed blueprint instructions
  • Must have basic mathematic skills, along with the ability to use and understand measuring tools
  • Must have great attention to detail

  • Under the direction of a supervisor, assist electricians in troubleshooting electric controls, motor control centers, and programmable logic controls using hand tools, power tools and precision-measuring and testing instruments
  • Help measure, cut, thread, and install, electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services to include panels, circuit breakers, and conduit per NEC/NFPA 70E standards and job specification
  • Install raceways, pull wire, and mount equipment
