We are currently recruiting for a Parts Manager to join us at our Vertu BMW York dealership, representing one of the most prestigious and innovative automotive brands in the world. BMW is renowned for its engineering excellence, premium product range and cutting-edge technology, with models such as the 3 Series, X5 and i4 continuing to drive strong customer demand across both traditional and electric vehicle markets. This reputation for quality and performance provides a dynamic and rewarding environment for a high-performing Parts Manager. This is a full time permanent position offering a competitive basic salary with an OTE up to £40,000 plus company benefits including share incentive scheme and much more. Located in York, this dealership benefits from a strong and affluent customer base, excellent transport links and a well-established presence within a busy retail area, making it an attractive and accessible place to work with consistent parts demand and customer flow. As our Parts Manager you will oversee the parts department, and will be responsible for maximising departmental profitability and achieving the departmental business plan. You will also be responsible for effectively controlling and maintaining resources, including stocks and equipment, while minimising the risk of financial loss to the company. You will be required to lead and develop the team in order to create a motivational working environment, support colleague retention, encourage continuous improvement and promote enhanced performance across the department.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee daily Parts Department operations to ensure efficiency and profitability
  • Manage stock levels, ordering and inventory control to meet business demands
  • Lead, motivate and develop the parts team to achieve departmental objectives
  • Build strong relationships with internal departments and external customers
  • Monitor performance against KPIs and implement improvements where required
