Job Description:

Here at Vertu Land Rover Truro we are looking for a reliable and hands‑on Parts Delivery Driver to support our busy Parts operation. This is a key role ensuring accurate, timely deliveries to dealerships while maintaining high standards of organisation, stock accuracy and customer service. This position involves manual handling, route planning and working to delivery schedules, so a practical, well‑organised individual is essential.

Job Responsibility:

  • Unpacking delivery cages on arrival and safely handling vehicle parts
  • Checking deliveries off against paperwork to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Matching parts to delivery documentation and raising any discrepancies
  • Organising and storing parts correctly within the warehouse
  • Packing the delivery van efficiently and securely
  • Planning delivery routes to maximise efficiency and meet deadlines
  • Delivering parts to multiple dealerships in a timely manner
  • Lifting and carrying parts into dealerships at point of delivery
  • Obtaining delivery confirmations and maintaining accurate records
  • Ensuring the van is kept clean, roadworthy and compliant with company standards
  • Following all health & safety procedures, including manual handling guidelines

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Previous delivery, warehouse or parts experience desirable
  • Good organisational and time‑management skills
  • A reliable, punctual and professional approach
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied delivery schedule
