Job Description

Be the expert who keeps big machines running. Keep the heavy diesel industry moving. Connect customers with genuine parts. You will be providing the highest level of service to our customers in Auckland, therefore we will be looking for those with experience in customer service. You will be reporting to a local Parts Manager so support and training will be provided.

Job Responsibility

  • Providing face-to-face, over the phone and email support and advice to our customers to ensure they receive the right product and service information to meet their requirements
  • Interpret & process incoming purchase orders for efficient dispatch
  • Coordinate the dispatch of customer orders within an acceptable time frame, ensuring all documentation requirements are met
  • Quote enquiries, monitor sales orders daily
  • Provide full and comprehensive parts support our internal service department/team of Field Service Technicians
  • Inform internal and external customers of their orders' progress, maintaining a high standard of customer service at all times
  • Work with our Supply Chain team to ensure accurate forecasting and deliveries

  • Previous experience in a parts department environment
  • High levels of accuracy and be detail orientated
  • A proven understanding of the importance of great customer service
  • Be a computer savvy individual who is confident to learn and use multiple systems
  • Displays a positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Able to work without direct supervision

  • Ensure parts are organized and readily available for shop and Road Service Technicians
  • Respond to incoming parts calls, emails, and inquiries promptly
  • Research and source parts numbers for technicians and customers
  • Handle technical inquiries from factories and vendors
  • Process orders, purchase orders, warranty documents, and quotes within the ERP system
  • Monitor and manage back-ordered items, update tracking systems, and communicate delivery timelines
  • Maintain accurate parts pricing and communicate updates as required
  • Complete weekly/monthly billings and replenishment of consignment inventory
