Job Responsibility

  • Order Processing & Data Entry: Input high-volume customer order information and requests into our user-friendly, Excel-based ERP system, handling fewer than 100 orders per week
  • Inbound Customer Service: Serve as the main contact for inbound phone calls and emails from North American clients
  • provide quotes, verify part availability, and specify delivery timelines (no cold calling required)
  • Technical Parts Sourcing: Read and interpret mechanical assembly and part drawings to accurately research component numbers, Example: specifically tracking down components for older equipment models
  • Warranty Administration: Oversee incoming warranty requests by tracking equipment serial numbers, entering metrics into the ERP system, and verifying parts coverage timeframes
  • Inventory Handling: Physically navigate the warehouse floor to pick small parts and package boxed shipments for couriers (UPS/Purolator)
  • strictly manage the backend documentation for large warranty returns
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with internal engineering, financing, and assembly supervisors to answer detailed part inquiries and handle customer billings

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of success in parts sales, technical sales, or customer service representatives
  • Mechanically inclined with an interest in learning complex product specifications, ideally possessing basic familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, or electrical fittings
  • Absolute capability to read, interpret, and research from technical assembly and part drawings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Prior experience with manufacturing ERP systems is preferred, though full on-the-job training is provided
  • Fluent English communication skills with a calm, professional demeanor to successfully guide clients and de-escalate customer concerns
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and a reliable track record
  • There will be times you need to enter the warehouse for parts, Steel toe boots/shoes are required while in the warehouse

Prior experience with manufacturing ERP systems is preferred
