Job Description:

Adams Morey is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Parts Apprentice to join our team in Newton Abbot. This is an excellent opportunity to start a career within the motor industry, gaining hands-on experience while working towards recognised qualifications. As a Parts Apprentice, you will learn all aspects of the parts department, supporting the smooth running of the business while developing your technical knowledge and customer service skills. You’ll work alongside experienced team members and receive structured training to help you grow within the role. Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting with the identification, ordering, and supply of vehicle parts
  • Supporting stock control and inventory management
  • Handling customer enquiries both face-to-face and over the phone
  • Learning about parts systems, logistics, and supplier relationships
  • Maintaining a clean and organised working environment.

Requirements:

  • Expected to have achieved GCSE grades 4–9 (or C–A*), though we are open to the right candidate with a positive attitude
  • Strong interest in the automotive industry
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and a team player.

  • Identify and report issues with maintenance activity that could affect daily on-time delivery and escalate to Chief Licensed Aircraft Engineer
