Join Paul Rigby Ltd as a Parts Advisor in our busy Tollgate Drive site, where your expertise will play a crucial role in supporting our automotive operations. This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive salary package, reflecting the importance we place on your skills and contribution. As a key member of our team, you will be the vital link between our customers, suppliers, and workshops, ensuring the smooth and efficient supply of vehicle parts.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers and colleagues with parts enquiries, orders, and availability
  • Process and manage parts orders accurately and efficiently using company systems
  • Liaise with suppliers and maintain good relationships to ensure timely delivery of stock
  • Maintain accurate parts stock levels by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies
  • Advise customers on appropriate parts and accessories, including technical specifications and compatibility
  • Support the workshop and sales teams by ensuring parts are available when needed to minimise vehicle downtime
  • Handle returns and warranty claims in line with company policies
  • Keep up to date with new products and developments in the automotive parts industry
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment within the parts department

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar parts advisor or automotive parts sales role is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts, components, and terminology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable manner
  • Good IT skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office and stock management systems
  • Ability to work well within a team and also independently when required
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and develop within the automotive industry
  • Full UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential
