The Partnership Sales Associate supports the growth of our partnership program by identifying, engaging, and onboarding businesses that align with our customer base. This entry‑level role focuses on lead generation, outreach, and supporting the partnership sales process, particularly for sales of print and digital media, from introduction through close. This position is ideal for early‑career sales professionals who are eager to develop their skills in B2B and SMB partnership sales.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct outbound outreach (phone, email, social, local networking) to identify potential partnership opportunities
Maintain an active list of prospective businesses, agencies, and brands
Support the building of a strong top‑of‑funnel pipeline through consistent prospecting activities
Assist in preparing basic partnership proposals, one‑sheets, and introductory presentations
Participate in introductory calls and support senior team members in follow‑up communication
Help track partnership conversations, next steps, and status updates within the CRM
Provide friendly and professional communication with potential partners throughout the sales cycle
Support the handoff process to internal teams for onboarding and activation
Help maintain long‑term partner relationships by providing periodic check‑ins and gathering feedback
Collaborate with internal team members to understand available partnership assets and opportunities
Help brainstorm new partnership ideas that align with customer insights and business goals
Assist with light administrative tasks such as scheduling, documentation, and data entry
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field preferred but not required
Minimum 1 year of experience in media sales, B2B/SMB outreach, marketing, or customer-facing roles
Experience with cold calling, inside sales, or lead generation preferred
Prior experience in print or digital media sales preferred, with proven results in selling advertising to national and/or regional clients
Strong communication skills—comfortable speaking with business owners, media buyers, and marketing professionals
Basic understanding of sales principles and customer engagement
Ability to learn CRM systems (prior CRM use a plus)
Strong organization skills and follow-through
Motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel) preferred
Nice to have:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field

Prior experience in print or digital media sales with proven results
