At Posh, partnerships are at the heart of our growth strategy. We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Partnerships Manager to join our team in SoHo. While your title will be Partnerships Manager, your role will focus on the core responsibilities of an Account Executive, specifically driving new business through outbound sales activities and managing the full sales cycle. In this role, you will prospect and engage leads through proactive outbound email and phone outreach while working closely with Posh’s Community and Rev Ops teams to engage warm inbound opportunities. You will be instrumental in expanding Posh’s reach across new markets and verticals across key mid-tiered markets, driving the growth of our platform by identifying and engaging event organizers, influencers, and community builders who can benefit from Posh’s tools and resources. This is an in-person role based in our New York City office in the heart of SoHo. Building live experiences and building with soul are important for our customers, and we believe being and working together as a team is the best way for Posh to feel and achieve this. Job Responsibility

  • Outbound Sales Calls
  • Identify and engage new leads daily via cold outreach (social media DMs, email, calls, etc.)
  • Conduct high-volume outbound calls to potential partners, introduced them to Posh, and generating interest in our platform
  • Use strategic questioning to understand the needs and challenges of prospects, positioning Posh as the ideal solution for their event management needs
  • Qualify leads over the phone, identify key decision-makers, and set up further meetings or demos
  • Live Demos
  • Conduct live demonstrations of the Posh platform, showcasing its features and benefits in real-time
  • Tailor each demo to the prospect's specific needs, highlighting how Posh can solve their unique challenges and enhance their event planning and promotion process
  • Answer questions and address any concerns, ensuring prospects fully understand the value of Posh to their business
  • Contract Negotiation and Closing
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact to closing the deal through high velocity partner acquisition
  • Develop customized proposals and negotiate contract terms that align with each prospect’s needs and Posh’s business goals
  • Work diligently to close deals, ensuring that all agreements are finalized efficiently and with a focus on high-velocity partnership success
  • Pipeline Management
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline, keeping track of all interactions and progress within Close CRM
  • Regularly update and manage your pipeline to ensure timely follow-ups and movement through the sales stages
  • Forecast sales results accurately, keeping leadership informed of potential deal closures and revenue projections
  • Sales Targets and Performance
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, contributing directly to Posh’s growth objectives in GMV tiers / mid-sized markets Posh is focused on
  • Continuously refine your sales tactics and strategies based on performance data and feedback to remain competitive and effective
  • Participate in regular sales meetings and training sessions to sharpen your skills and stay updated on the latest sales techniques and Posh platform updates

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a sales or account executive role, with a strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Proven ability to search, qualify and close net new business
  • Proven success in conducting outbound calls and closing deals, with the ability to handle high call volumes and maintain quality interactions
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling live demos that engage and convert prospects
  • Strong negotiation skills, with experience in drafting and closing contracts that benefit the company and the client
  • Ability to manage a sales pipeline effectively, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Close/Salesforce) and a data-driven approach to managing sales activities
  • Motivated to win

Nice to have

  • Experience in the live events, entertainment, or ticketing industries, particularly in a sales role
  • A background in managing or scaling communities, either professionally or as a passion project
