Kanda Children, Youth & Family Services is seeking a dedicated Property Officer to join our team full-time in Ipswich, QLD. This role is responsible for maintaining properties and assets to a high standard, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency while supporting accommodation and programs for children and young people under statutory intervention.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee property maintenance, repairs, and coordinate trades
Conduct inspections, manage vacates, and assist the team as needed
Ensure legislative and contractor compliance
Source, order, and manage assets and maintain accurate records
Support property growth opportunities and build relationships with suppliers and internal teams
Maintain high-standard documentation in line with Kanda policies
Requirements:
Experience in building, maintenance, or community housing
Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent time management, organisation, and administrative skills
Confident written and verbal communication skills
Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, web applications)
Hold or willing to obtain: Working with Children Blue Card, LCS2, NDIS Worker Screening & current Class C Driver’s Licence
