We’re hiring a proven, fast-moving, always-on alliances leader to ensure our biopharma partnerships are healthy, on-track, and exceeding expectations. You’ll be the operational engine of each relationship—setting the agenda, aligning stakeholder, tracking success criteria, and detecting issues early. As our first alliances hire, you'll report to our CEO/founder and be a founding member of Chai's commercial team. This is a high-EQ, high-ownership role for someone who excels at execution, communication, and building trust.
Job Responsibility:
Own relationship health across strategic partners: keep metrics green, detect risk signals early, drive resolution
Manage client-facing projects and collaborations end-to-end
Partner with field scientists to ensure timely and successful delivery against all commitments
Escalate and translate feedback from partners back to the rest of the company
Requirements:
Proven experience in alliance management, strategic partnerships, customer success, or similar roles in biopharma/biotech
Operationally oriented: you like to build systems, hold timelines, and keep everyone on the same page—without ever dropping balls
Strong relationship builder with high EQ, executive presence, and excellent communication skills
Sufficient scientific fluency to understand the work and support scientific counterparts
Thrive in lean, fast-moving environments
