We are seeking a proactive and highly organised professional to support the partnerships function of the Better Cotton Initiative Branch in Uzbekistan, contributing to the effective delivery of programme activities in an expanding country programme. The Partnership Coordinator plays a key role in managing relationships with cotton producers, overseeing partnership endorsement and due diligence processes, monitoring corrective action plans, and ensuring the timely resolution of non-compliances. The role is also responsible for coordinating partnership agreements, including negotiation, onboarding, and renewals. Through structured engagement with cluster management teams and close collaboration with internal stakeholders, the Partnership Coordinator will contribute to strong partner performance, robust data management, and the consistent implementation of the Better Cotton Initiative Standard System.
Job Responsibility
Manage relationships with existing partners, ensuring effective communication and strong working partnerships
Lead the management of partnership agreements, including renewals, amendments, and ensuring partners meet contractual obligations
Support alignment with the programme model by monitoring partner contributions
Monitor partner performance and implementation progress by designing and implementing monitoring tools, coordinating regular progress review meetings, and ensuring outcomes are properly documented and filed
Contribute to building and delivering a cohesive approach to effective partnerships that will drive excellence and impact at the field level
Oversee programme data collection processes across partners, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely submission, and maintain all Programme data in the ERP system
Coordinate pre-selection of new partners, conducting field visits, programme presentation, and collecting required information
Coordinate Due Diligence processes for new and existing partners
Monitor implementation of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and follow up to ensure timely closure of non-compliances
Ensure smooth coordination with external consultants recruited to conduct the Due Diligence
Support the preparation and coordination of Due Diligence reviews and committee processes
Ensure that Due Diligence records are accurately maintained and up-to-date in the internal ERP system
Requirements
At least a bachelor's degree in business/public administration, law, finance, accounting or a relevant subject
At least 5 years of professional experience in partnership management, Due Diligence, audit activities, risk assessment, sustainable compliance, or related fields
Proficient English (written and verbal)
Proficient in Uzbek/Russian
