Job Description

Cultivate Microsoft Partner capabilities by facilitating the delivery of proactive consultative services to support their needs. The role is primarily technical with a strong solution focus.

Job Responsibility

  • Drive the digital and AI transformation of customers through the Microsoft partner channel
  • Act as a consultant and trusted technical advisor, enabling Microsoft partners to adopt Microsoft AI and cloud technologies
  • Help partners publish their applications to our commercial marketplaces (Azure Marketplace and AppSource)
  • Engage in technical activities – from delivering a readiness event, providing presales technical help to a partner over the phone, working with colleagues on a proof of concept, or delivering a webcast for partners
  • Collaborate with peers and partners in Asia and the EMEA
  • Support Partners to accelerate their sales cycle by helping them design, develop and deploy customer solutions based on Microsoft technologies and methodologies
  • Support presales, driving skills transfer, adoption of Microsoft products & solutions, and deployment to help drive the partner business

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 2+ years of technical pre-sales, technical support, or technical consulting experience
  • OR 3+ years of technical pre-sales, technical support, or technical consulting experience
  • 1+ year(s) experience with relevant technologies (e.g., cloud, infrastructure, Microsoft platform)
  • Development skills in the .NET stack (C#, ASP.NET Standard/Core, WCF, and security), PowerShell, or other programming languages
  • Experience building architectures for cloud migration and optimization scenarios based on the Well-Architected Framework
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), including Azure AI services and infrastructure components, with the ability to deliver end-to-end cloud-ready solutions
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Copilot products and Copilot Studio and the general Microsoft tools in the AI landscape including but not limited to Semantic Kernel etc
  • Background in database development (preferably with SQL/Azure SQL Database), including designing and building database solutions (tables, stored procedures, forms, queries, etc.)
  • Experience with deployment and orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, Swarm, etc.)
  • Understanding of how to publish applications to the Microsoft commercial marketplaces
  • Cloud adoption competency: Ability to articulate the value proposition of cloud technologies
  • Customer and partner focus: Proven ability to consistently create a positive experience for partners
  • Ability to articulate product strategy and business benefits and empower partners to embrace change
  • Full professional proficiency in English

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of CSP API is good-to-have but not mandatory
  • hands-on experience publishing applications to the Microsoft commercial marketplaces is a plus
