As a Partner Solutions Architect Director, you will lead and develop a high‑performing team of Partner Solutions Architects supporting Global System Integrators (GSIs), while acting as a trusted, CTO‑level technical advisor and strategic partner to selected GSIs. You drive partner success by shaping technical strategy, strengthening solution portfolios across Microsoft technologies, and enabling partners to become Frontier companies—helping them lead their own customers on transformative Frontier journeys through innovative use of Agents, Data & AI solutions across Asia, EMEA, and the Americas.

You’ll foster collaborative relationships with partners to align objectives and maximize the impact of Microsoft solutions
Technical Expertise – You’ll leverage your deep technical expertise in IP solutions and services development to provide valuable insights and gain credibility with partners. Staying current on emerging technologies and industry trends, you’ll drive innovation in partner solutions. You’ll consult on strategic alignment with Microsoft’s technology priorities and assess partners’ readiness to address solution gaps
Solutions, IP, Practices & Offers creation – You’ll ensure that all partner IP, practices, and solutions are validated through customers deals engagements. You’ll establish standards and governance to ensure solutions demonstrate real‑world applicability, technical rigor, pipeline relevance, and readiness to scale globally
Frontier Transformation – You’ll guide partners in becoming Frontier companies by leading with repeatable, AI‑driven cloud solutions at global scale. You’ll enable partners to lead their customers through transformative Frontier journeys using Microsoft Cloud, Data, AI, Security, and agent‑based solutions by shaping repeatable technical patterns, reference architectures, and execution models
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience
3+ years people management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, and/or technical architect managers
3+ years leading and/or responsible for Data & AI cloud technical engagements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 12+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience
6+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external) including technical pre sales
6+ years experience leading technical projects, teams, or functions using engineering methodology and best practices
Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications)
6+ years people management experience
3+ years experience leading the incubation, validation, and scaling of partner IP, practices, or solutions through customers deals engagements
3+ years experience leading or influencing technical strategy across global or multi‑region partner portfolios, including Global System Integrators
5+ years experience in cloud Data & AI technologies
