Job Description

Join our Global Channel Partner Sales Tech Team as a Partner Solution Architect and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Microsoft's partner ecosystem — at the intersection of AI innovation, developer productivity, and data intelligence. Our mission is to pioneer partner innovation with Microsoft — enabling partners to build profitable, services-led offerings that grow global revenue at scale. We champion the evolution of the global Partner channel by guiding partners toward modern, AI-first business models with a specific focus on enabling Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Our team defines and evangelizes AI and Agentic strategy across diverse partner business models, ensuring deep alignment with Microsoft's broader AI vision. As a Partner Solution Architect specializing in Azure AI Platforms, Developer Productivity, and Data, you will serve as a trusted technical and strategic advisor to Microsoft's most significant partners. You will guide partners in designing and building innovative, scalable, and secure cloud solutions — accelerating their path to market while driving measurable Microsoft Azure consumption growth.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead technical strategy for partners across key Azure solution plays — including Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, GitHub Copilot, Azure Data Platform (Fabric/Databricks), and Developer productivity tooling
  • Accelerate partner capability by guiding architectural design sessions, developing proof of concepts, and enabling transitions from legacy environments to modern cloud architectures optimized for performance, security, and cost-efficiency
  • Enable services-led business models by helping partners design and launch repeatable, packaged offerings aligned to Microsoft's Cloud & AI priorities
  • Drive partner specializations and designations — including AI Platform, Build AI Apps, Analytics on Azure, and Developer Productivity — by building the technical depth and validated customer evidence required for qualification
  • Connect partner technical requirements to business outcomes, ensuring solutions are aligned to partner growth goals and Microsoft's revenue priorities
  • Guide Solution Development & Activation
  • Empower Innovation
  • Strategic Sales Enablement
  • Champion Technical Excellence
  • Voice of Customer
  • Thought Leadership & Stakeholder Management
  • Partner Enablement & Business Acumen.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 4+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
  • OR equivalent experience
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States that does not now or in the future require employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • 4+ years experience working in a partner or customer facing role
  • 4+ years experience working on technical projects
  • Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).
