Job Description

We’re growing our partnership team in APAC where we are looking for our first Partner Manager to lead our initiatives in the region.

Job Responsibility

  • Act as the primary point of contact and champion for partners in the APAC region - including technology vendors, resellers, system integrators (SIs), service partners, and private equity partners
  • Work closely with Gong’s regional Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to plan and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies with partners, aligning on target segments, account mapping, and co-sell motions
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of partner-sourced and partner-influenced opportunities
  • drive joint business plans with partners to generate revenue and market penetration
  • Develop and run enablement programs for partners: training, workshops, joint webinars / events (virtual or in-person), case studies, marketing campaigns, sales playbooks - to help partners position and sell Gong effectively in their markets
  • Onboard new partners: conduct partner qualification and due diligence, define mutual expectations/goals, negotiate partnership agreements, and manage contract execution
  • Maintain strong partner relationships: act as the trusted partner advocate internally, gather partner feedback, surface partner needs to Product/Marketing/Sales, and ensure smooth collaboration and partner satisfaction
  • Monitor and report on key partnership KPIs relevant to APAC: e.g. partner-sourced pipeline, partner-influenced revenue, activation/adoption rates, partner satisfaction, partner marketing campaign metrics. Provide regular updates and insights to regional leadership
  • Identify new partnership opportunities — either by recruiting new partners (resellers, SIs, consultancies, affiliates, regional vendors) or expanding relationships with existing partners, to deepen market coverage across APAC markets

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in alliances, channel sales, partner management, business development, or GTM partnerships — ideally in SaaS or B2B enterprise software, with exposure to APAC markets
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling partner ecosystems, with proven track record of partner-sourced or co-sold revenue, partner enablement, or co-marketing collaborations
  • Strong commercial acumen and sales skills: comfortable working with joint business plans, forecasting, revenue targets, pipeline management, and GTM execution
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. You can work comfortably across cultures and markets in APAC, liaising with partner executives, internal cross-functional teams, and customers
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and execution-oriented. You thrive in ambiguity, can manage multiple partners concurrently, and are proactive about driving partnership initiatives end-to-end
  • Analytical mindset: able to track and report on performance metrics, generate insights, and recommend actions to optimize partner performance and growth. Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) or partner management/analytics tools is a plus
  • Cultural and regional fluency: understanding of business landscapes, regulatory considerations, and cultural nuances across key APAC markets (e.g. Southeast Asia, ANZ, East Asia)
