Job Description

Microsoft’s Healthcare mission is to empower clinicians, caregivers, and healthcare organizations through trusted cloud and AI innovation. As a Partner Development Manager (PDM) for the UK & Ireland Healthcare market, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and scaling Microsoft’s partner ecosystem, driving adoption of Microsoft Dragon Copilot, Azure, and broader Microsoft healthcare capabilities. This role is focused on strategic partner management and business growth, working with a portfolio of Healthcare ISVs and Systems Integrators who build, integrate, and deliver industry solutions on Microsoft platforms. You will act as the primary Microsoft relationship owner for your partners, helping them differentiate, grow, and succeed in the UK & Ireland healthcare market. As an Individual Contributor, you will combine commercial acumen, partner leadership, and healthcare domain understanding to deliver measurable impact, accelerating partner-led sales, joint go-to-market execution, and customer value through AI-powered healthcare solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Partner Strategy & Relationship Management: Own and manage a named portfolio of Healthcare ISV and SI partners across the UK & Ireland, serving as the primary Microsoft point of contact
  • Build and maintain trusted, executive-level relationships with partner leadership, aligning Microsoft and partner strategies to shared healthcare market priorities
  • Develop and execute joint business plans that drive partner capability, solution differentiation, and long-term growth on Microsoft platforms
  • Act as a strong internal advocate for partners, representing their needs, opportunities, and feedback across Microsoft teams
  • Go-to-Market & Sales Execution: Drive partner-led and co-sell motions in collaboration with Microsoft field sales, industry specialists, and technical teams
  • Accelerate pipeline, revenue, and Azure consumption through joint solution positioning, account alignment, and coordinated GTM execution
  • Support partners in translating Microsoft Dragon Copilot, Azure, and healthcare capabilities into compelling value propositions for healthcare providers and systems
  • Enable partners to leverage Microsoft programs, incentives, marketplace motions, and co-sell platforms to scale impact
  • Partner Enablement & Capability Development: Guide partners through the full Microsoft partner lifecycle, including onboarding, solution readiness, and ongoing performance optimization
  • Support partner skilling and practice development aligned to healthcare workloads, AI innovation, and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure partners are positioned to build secure, compliant, and scalable healthcare solutions on Azure and related Microsoft technologies
  • Encourage adoption of best practices in solution design, sales execution, and customer success
  • Healthcare Ecosystem & Market Impact: Maintain strong awareness of the UK & Ireland healthcare landscape, including provider priorities, digital health trends, and regulatory considerations
  • Identify market gaps, emerging opportunities, and high-potential partners to strengthen Microsoft’s healthcare ecosystem
  • Bring market insights and partner feedback into Microsoft to inform strategy, investments, and innovation priorities
  • Represent Microsoft as a trusted advisor within the healthcare partner community

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven experience in partner management, business development, or sales, ideally within the technology ecosystem
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to drive business outcomes through influence, strategy, and execution
  • Experience working with ISVs and/or Systems Integrators, including joint planning and go-to-market collaboration
  • Solid understanding of the healthcare market, including digital health, clinical workflows, or healthcare IT solutions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently at executive level

Nice to have

  • Experience with cloud platforms and AI solutions, particularly Microsoft Azure or healthcare-focused technologies
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dragon Copilot, ambient clinical intelligence, or clinical AI solutions (or strong aptitude to learn quickly)
  • Background in healthcare transformation, digital health, or clinical technology ecosystems
  • Ability to operate effectively in complex, matrixed organizations and manage multiple priorities independently
