Job Description:

Partner Business Manager role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, focused on building and managing relationships with Partners to drive HPE revenue, profitability, and market share within the IT ecosystem. Key responsibilities include selling through and aligning with Partners, developing joint business plans, and articulating HPE's technology strategy to achieve mutual goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Serves as a trusted advisor to the Partner on where to play within emerging trends in Partner's ecosystem
  • works with the Partner to create mutually beneficial plans
  • drives end-to-end revenue, profitability, and pipeline through joint business plans
  • articulates both HPE global and local business strategies
  • develops solid knowledge of partner priorities, industry trends, and HPE Technology
  • demonstrates business and sales leadership by building relationships with Partners
  • coordinates HPE activities with the Partner including sales, education, and marketing
  • drives and implements HPE strategy and programs to assure accelerated financial outcomes
  • tailors selling solutions to Partner's customer profiles
  • may recruit and develop business relationships with new partners

Requirements:

  • University or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • typically 4-8+ years of selling experience
  • solid experience in selling to partners desired
  • solid awareness of current technology trends and related HPE strategy
  • ability to influence the partner to take actions that create increased value to HPE
  • solid understanding of business and financial fundamentals
  • ability to articulate the value of HPE portfolios and solutions
  • ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • professional, clear, and effective verbal and written communication
  • solid understanding of financial accounting concepts
  • ability to forecast sales quota and address sales gaps
  • knowledge in account management, partner industry, and sales acumen
