The Partner Business Manager serves as a trusted advisor to the partner on emerging trends and aligns HPE strategies to create a mutually beneficial plan for growth. The role involves driving HPE revenue, articulating strategies, building executive-level relationships, executing activities, and ensuring compliance with HPE standards.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as a trusted advisor to the partner on emerging trends in the partner's ecosystem
drive HPE revenue, profitability, and pipeline with the partner through data-driven sales
articulate HPE business strategies to sell with, to, and through the partner
develop knowledge of partner priorities, IT investment strategy, and HPE technology
build executive-level relationships with partners to grow HPE market share
coordinate and execute HPE activities with the partner
drive partner account mapping process
lead and implement HPE strategy and programs to accelerate financial outcomes
tailor selling solutions to fit the needs of the partner's customer profile
recruit and develop business relationships with new partners
monitor partner sales floor to develop pipeline
ensure partners comply with HPE's SBC requirements.
Requirements:
University or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
5+ years of selling experience at end-user account or partner level
experience selling to partners in a complex environment
thorough awareness of current technology trends and related HPE strategy
ability to influence the partner to take actions that create increased value to HPE
thorough understanding of business and financial fundamentals
thorough understanding of HPE products and their value to customers
thorough understanding of partner industry, trends, competitors, and the channel
ability to achieve agreement within business contexts and resolve issues
thorough understanding of financial accounting concepts
ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
negotiation and conflict management skills
effective communication skills
creativity and entrepreneurship.
