Job Description:

Manage and grow relationships with one of HPE's largest partners through strategic planning, sales execution, alignment of business goals, and delivery of cutting-edge solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own and lead the relationship between HPE and one of our largest partners driving joint growth
  • execute business priorities and exceed sales metrics
  • build and execute a mutually beneficial joint business plan aligning to strategy and priorities
  • drive end-to-end HPE revenue, profitability, and pipeline
  • lead a team of HPE Specialists to coordinate and execute HPE activities
  • articulate HPE global and local business strategies to sell with and through the Partner
  • develop deep knowledge of partner priorities and industry trends
  • communicate the value of the portfolio to differentiate HPE from competitors
  • champion the partner within HPE
  • build executive-level decision-maker relationships to grow HPE market share
  • tailor selling solutions to fit partner's customer profile
  • spend majority of working week within partner's offices
  • ensure compliance with HPE's Standards of Business Conduct requirements.

Requirements:

  • University or Bachelor's degree
  • advanced degree or MBA preferred, or equivalent experience
  • typically 8-12+ years of partner selling experience with demonstrable success with a large VAR
  • experience as successful account/business manager, selling to CxO and decision-maker level
  • deep awareness of current technology trends and HPE strategy
  • ability to influence the partner to take actions that create increased value to HPE
  • deep understanding of business and financial fundamentals
  • thorough understanding of HPE products
  • deep understanding of partner industry and trends
  • ability to build relationships with partners and internal community
  • negotiation and conflict management skills
  • strong financial acumen
  • sales forecasting
  • professional communication skills
  • effective time management
  • creativity and entrepreneurship.
