Job Description:

Partner Business Manager role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise focused on building relationships with partners, driving growth across HPE's portfolio, translating customer business challenges into IT opportunities, and leading account teams in a complex matrix organization.

Job Responsibility:

  • Articulates connection between customer's core KPIs
  • Builds and executes plan to drive growth and profitability
  • Drives growth in HPE's strategic value portfolio
  • Engages with customer to identify opportunities
  • Translates customers' business challenges into IT opportunities
  • Develops and maintains professional relationship network within customer
  • Develops and maintains overview of partner's landscape
  • Develops partner relationships
  • Builds relationship and runs regular account governance
  • Utilizes HPE tools and processes for customer advocacy
  • Builds and executes basic account business plans

Requirements:

  • University or Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Typically 4-10+ years sales experience
  • Account management experience desired
  • Experience in IT industry preferred
  • Experience working within IT department and/or within customers is a plus
  • Experience in vertical industry preferred
  • Drives Results: Shows strong will to win, persistent in face of obstacles
  • Strategic Planning: Able to articulate vision and path to achieve it
  • Sales Execution: Able to efficiently deliver on short term sales engagements
  • IT Industry Acumen: Knowledge of cutting edge IT industry developments

  • Team Leadership: Able to lead teams in complex matrix organization
  • Network/Relationship Building: Able to create strong professional relationships

  • Influencing and Negotiating: Proficient in influencing and negotiation techniques
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of business concepts and financial reports
  • Operational Excellence: Shows predictability and operational excellence
  • Integrity: Acts with integrity in complex situations
  • Vertical/Industry Knowledge: Understands customer's industry landscape
  • Consulting: Can guide customer through achieving business outcomes
