Job Description

Neo4j is seeking an experienced and strategic Global Alliance Director to own and grow our partnership with the large technology ecosystem companies such as Microsoft, IBM, etc. This role is critical to advancing our joint go-to-market strategy, aligning product roadmaps, coordinating global field sales collaboration, and driving joint revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud data platforms, experience in enterprise technology partnerships, and a passion for driving innovation and revenue with partners. This is a senior role on our team, with the possibility of hiring at a Senior Director level for the right candidate.

Job Responsibility

  • Serve as the primary global point of contact for the Microsoft partnerships
  • Develop and execute a joint strategic plan that aligns Neo4j’s and Microsoft’s goals, including co-selling, co-marketing, and joint solution development
  • Lead quarterly business reviews and executive alignment meetings with Microsoft counterparts
  • Drive pipeline and revenue through joint field engagement and enablement across sales, customer success, and solutions engineering teams
  • Launch and support joint offerings and reference architectures integrating Neo4j and Microsoft (e.g., Fabric)
  • Track, measure, and report on joint sales activity, wins, and impact
  • Work closely with Neo4j’s sales, marketing, product, and partner engineering teams to ensure alignment and execution of the Microsoft partnership plan
  • Collaborate with Microsoft partner marketing to drive awareness, thought leadership, and demand generation campaigns
  • Coordinate with product and engineering teams on technical integration roadmaps and support co-development of solutions such as Graph + GenAI, Graph Data Science with Microsoft Fabric
  • Own partner governance, documentation, and tracking in CRM and alliance management systems
  • Act as an internal advocate for Microsoft-related sales opportunities, escalations, and initiatives

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in strategic alliances, business development, or partner management within enterprise software
  • Strong understanding of the enterprise technology stack and partner go-to-market strategies globally
  • Proven track record of growing and managing global technology alliances with measurable business impact
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced, highly matrixed organization
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and executive relationship management skills
  • Experience working with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and ISV/channel partners is a plus
