The award-winning 5-star Muckross Park Hotel & Spa in the stunning Killarney National Park is now recruiting for a Part-Time Turn Down Assistant to join the team, completing evening turn-down duties. Job Responsibility

  • completing evening turn-down duties
  • Change bed linens, replenish amenities, and ensure all guest supplies are well-stocked
  • Clean and tidy guest rooms and public areas in accordance with hotel standards and procedures
  • Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain a pristine environment
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages to the relevant department for prompt resolution
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for guests and colleagues
  • Assist guests with any inquiries or requests in a courteous and professional manner
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and guest satisfaction
  • Uphold the hotel's reputation for excellence by consistently delivering exceptional service

Requirements

  • Experience working as Accommodation Assistant
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Change bed linens, replenish amenities, and ensure all guest supplies are well-stocked
  • Clean and tidy guest rooms and public areas in accordance with hotel standards and procedures
  • Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain a pristine environment

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential

  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • A positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to meet guest expectations

Nice to have

Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential
