Your Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll be instrumental in creating a positive and effective learning environment: Classroom Support: Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and support pupil learning. Pupil Champion: Provide individualised support, helping pupils with their academic, social, emotional, and personal care needs. Engaging Learning: Contribute to making learning exciting and accessible for every pupil.

Requirements

  • A genuine passion for working with children with special needs and a desire to make a difference
  • A collaborative team player, eager to share ideas and work effectively with others
  • A proactive learner, keen to develop new skills and knowledge to best support pupils
  • GCSEs in Maths and English (Level 2/Grade C or above)
  • A strong understanding of Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures
  • Access to your own transport

Nice to have

  • CACHE level 1 or 2
  • CACHE level 2 or 3
  • early childhood studies degree
  • health and social care experience
  • health and social care qualifications (NVQ)
  • HLTA
  • NVQ level 2
