Job Description:

We’re looking for a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join a small, dedicated team providing one‑to‑one rehabilitation and daily living support for a disabled man in his own home in Ramsgate. This is a meaningful, relationship‑focused role where you’ll help maintain independence, support structured routines, and contribute to a calm, positive environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide safe, person‑centred support within the home and community
  • Assist with daily routines, mobility, and rehabilitation activities
  • Support structured care plans and positive behaviour approaches
  • Maintain a calm, respectful, and supportive environment
  • Work alongside core team members to ensure continuity of care
  • Provide essential cover during staff holidays and sickness

Requirements:

  • Experience in care, support work, or personal assistance
  • A confident driver with a full clean manual licence
  • Able to cook with confidence and help with independence in the kitchen
  • Enjoy outdoor life and arrange time for journeys out and about in the campervan
  • Someone dependable, flexible, and comfortable with long shifts and sleep‑ins
  • A calm, thoughtful approach and commitment to person‑centred support
  • Willingness to follow structured routines and rehabilitation plans
  • Enhanced DBS required
