At Randstad, we are currently in search of enthusiastic and committed teachers to join our team as part-time supply teachers. You have the freedom to choose the number of days you work each week, decide on your work locations, and select the age groups you want to teach.
Job Responsibility:
Delivering engaging and effective lessons when the regular class teacher is absent, covering various subjects and age groups
Adapting to different school environments and following provided lesson plans
Establishing positive relationships with students, fellow staff members, and parents
Completing essential administrative tasks, including providing lesson feedback and maintaining attendance records
Creating a positive learning atmosphere and effectively managing classroom behaviour
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (e.g., PGCE)
Previous experience as a classroom teacher or in a school support role
Proficient classroom management skills
The ability to motivate and inspire students
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Adaptability to work in diverse school settings
A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or a willingness to obtain one
