Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons when the regular class teacher is absent, covering various subjects and age groups
  • Adapting to different school environments and following provided lesson plans
  • Establishing positive relationships with students, fellow staff members, and parents
  • Completing essential administrative tasks, including providing lesson feedback and maintaining attendance records
  • Creating a positive learning atmosphere and effectively managing classroom behaviour

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (e.g., PGCE)
  • Previous experience as a classroom teacher or in a school support role
  • Proficient classroom management skills
  • The ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Adaptability to work in diverse school settings
  • A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or a willingness to obtain one
