Requirements for the Supply Teacher role: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (e.g., PGCE). Previous experience as a classroom teacher or in a school support role. Proficient classroom management skills. The ability to motivate and inspire students. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Adaptability to work in diverse school settings. A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or a willingness to obtain one. Your responsibilities as a Supply Teacher: Delivering engaging and effective lessons when the regular class teacher is absent, covering various subjects and age groups. Adapting to different school environments and following provided lesson plans. Establishing positive relationships with students, fellow staff members, and parents. Completing essential administrative tasks, including providing lesson feedback and maintaining attendance records. Creating a positive learning atmosphere and effectively managing classroom behaviour.
