The Department of Chemistry and Forensic Science at EKU is seeking Part-Time Secondary Instructors to work with program faculty, assisting in teaching undergraduate lectures and laboratories. Appointments will begin this Fall 2026 semester, with options to renew on a semester-to-semester basis, as available. Course load may be up to 9 credit hours per semester, depending on need. Courses may include, but are not limited to: Introductory Chemistry, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytic Chemistry, and associated labs.
Job Responsibility:
Teach courses as assigned at the times and in the locations necessary to meet the needs of EKU students
Requirements:
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related discipline
or hold a bachelor's degree and at least 18 graduate credit hours in Chemistry or a related discipline
Degree(s) must be from a regionally (SACS, Middle States, North Central, etc.) accredited or internationally recognized institution
