Beacon Hill has partnered with a growing financial services firm in the Chicago Loop in hiring a part-time Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to start immediately! This role will be Tuesday – Thursday from 7:30am – 3pm.
Job Responsibility
Greet visitors and serve as the first point of contact for clients, guests, and vendors
Answer and route incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
Manage front desk coverage, calendars, and meeting room scheduling
Handle inbound and outbound mail, packages, and deliveries
Perform general administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and document preparation
Assist with email correspondence and basic follow-up communication
Order and maintain office supplies as needed
Support internal staff with ad hoc administrative projects
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
Requirements
Prior experience in an administrative assistant, receptionist, or office support role preferred
Bachelor's Degree highly preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Professional, friendly, and reliable demeanor
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) or Google Workspace
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Comfort interacting with clients and internal stakeholders
Availability to work part-time during standard business hours
