We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Crawley, seeking a dedicated teacher to support their SEN unit on a part-time basis (2–3 days per week, with flexibility on days).
Job Responsibility:
Teaching and supporting pupils within a specialist SEN provision
Delivering tailored lessons to meet a range of additional needs (including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language needs)
Creating a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment
Working closely with experienced support staff, SENCO, and wider school team
Monitoring progress and adapting learning to support individual outcomes
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working with children with SEN (school-based or alternative settings)
A calm, patient, and adaptable approach
Strong behaviour management and a nurturing teaching style
A genuine passion for inclusive education
