Job Description

We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Crawley, seeking a dedicated teacher to support their SEN unit on a part-time basis (2–3 days per week, with flexibility on days).

Job Responsibility

  • Teaching and supporting pupils within a specialist SEN provision
  • Delivering tailored lessons to meet a range of additional needs (including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language needs)
  • Creating a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment
  • Working closely with experienced support staff, SENCO, and wider school team
  • Monitoring progress and adapting learning to support individual outcomes

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with children with SEN (school-based or alternative settings)
  • A calm, patient, and adaptable approach
  • Strong behaviour management and a nurturing teaching style
  • A genuine passion for inclusive education
