Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Pharmacist to join our busy dispensing hub. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality pharmaceutical services.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee and verify prescription dispensing with accuracy and compliance
  • Provide clinical support and guidance to the dispensing team
  • Ensure adherence to GPhC standards, SOPs, and all legal and professional requirements
  • Support workflow efficiency within the hub
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure high standards of patient safety

Requirements:

  • GPhC-registered Pharmacist
  • Strong understanding of dispensary processes (hub experience preferred but not essential)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Availability for part-time hours – 2 days per week

  • Under the supervision of a pharmacist, may review patient profiles and document clinical interventions, recommendations, and assessments in the electronic health record in accordance with institutional policies, professional standards, and state pharmacy laws.
  • Assists patients, customers, and other caregivers as needed to obtain prescribed and over-the-counter medications.
  • Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships, and team building.
