Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Payroll Clerk to join our Manufacturing client in Markham and support the processing of the company's payroll.

Job Responsibility:

Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees
Verify and enter timesheet data into payroll system using ADP Workforce Now
Update employee records, including new hires and status changes
Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries
Generate and distribute pay statements
Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records
Support year-end reporting and tax form preparation

Requirements:

Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, or Human Resources
Proven experience in payroll processing
Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation is an asset
Strong proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or Workday (preferred)
Excellent communication skills (English)
fluency in French is an asset
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability to manage tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Highly organized, with strong prioritization skills and attention to detail

Nice to have:

Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation
fluency in French
