Job Description:

A close-knit family of three in Dalkeith is seeking a calm, adaptable, and caring nanny to primarily support a 10 year old boy as he transitions into main stream school. The family values honesty, love, learning, and togetherness and would love to find someone who enjoys working with quirky, creative kids and can provide gentle guidance and educational support.

Job Responsibility:

Providing home-schooling style, engaging and educational activities
Supervise playtime, downtime, and independent activities
Prepare simple, healthy lunches and snacks
School pick up and driving the children to local outings and activities

Requirements:

Driver’s licence and confident driver
Experience working or living with people with disabilities (highly advantageous)
Childcare qualifications not required but valued
Current Working With Children Check
Current First Aid certificate
Police Check
Non-smoking
Preferably a cat lover (3 cats)

Nice to have:

Education experience or background is a bonus (to assist with home-schooling)
