Job Description:

A warm, caring household in Winthrop, WA is looking for a nurturing and reliable nanny to support the care of their 19-month-old toddler. This is a long-term role, and the household will also be welcoming another baby later in the year. This position would suit someone gentle, patient and confident with toddler routines, who enjoys getting out and about in the mornings and creating a calm, safe environment at home.

Job Responsibility:

Preparing and serving breakfast, lunch and snacks
Morning outings (library rhyme time, park walks, soft play)
Settling the toddler for their nap around 11:30–12:00
Light household tasks during nap time (dishes, folding toddler laundry, simple meal prep)
Afternoon play, arts and crafts, and relaxed activities
Creating a calm, safe and nurturing environment

Requirements:

3+ years experience as a nanny or in childcare related role
Childcare qualifications ideal but not essential
Confident with toddler routines and gentle guidance
Caring, easy-going and able to use initiative
Comfortable working closely with parents and open communication
Current First Aid and CPR
Current Working with Children's check
Confident driver with a full clean drivers licence (Car provided whilst at work)
