Job Description:

A professional and welcoming family based in Narraweena, Sydney is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic nanny to support the care of their two young children aged 10 months and 2 years. The family is looking for a patient, calm and playful nanny who genuinely enjoys working with babies and toddlers. The ideal candidate will bring a warm, nurturing presence while also being confident, clear and structured in their approach, recognising that the children thrive on routine and consistency. A nanny who is organised, independent and proactive, and who is able to take initiative within the household, will be highly valued. This is a relaxed, low-maintenance family who value a well-structured yet joyful home environment, where routine and flexibility are balanced to support the children's growth, independence and confidence.

Job Responsibility:

  • Caring for baby girl and supporting morning/afternoon routines of little boy
  • Supporting feeding routines (meals and bottles)
  • Managing naps and maintaining consistent routine
  • Engaging in floor play, reading and interactive activities
  • Supporting developmental milestones
  • Taking baby on walks and outings
  • Encouraging exploration, learning and social interaction
  • Occasional driving for daycare pick-up or activities
  • Light household duties during nap times (general tidying, children's meal preparation and laundry)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years' experience as a nanny or in a childcare-related role
  • Childcare qualifications preferred
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Working With Children Check
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Non-smoker
  • Full driver's licence (own car preferred
  • family car also available)
  • Confident swimmer
