Job Responsibility

Safely driving a company van or LGV to deliver building supplies and retail goods to customers on scheduled routes
Loading and unloading stock, ensuring goods are handled with care and secured properly during transport
Maintaining accurate delivery records and providing excellent customer service at all times
Acting as a relief LGV driver when required, stepping in to cover absences and busy periods
Performing daily vehicle checks and reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly
Adhering to all health and safety regulations including safe driving practices and manual handling guidelines
Working closely with yard and sales teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction

Maintain vehicles to a high standard, including cleanliness and weekly wheel nut torque checks
Provide excellent service to colleagues and customers, demonstrating reliability, and strong timekeeping
Be flexible towards working hours and be available for occasional overtime to meet business and depot needs
Ensure full compliance with all Company policies and procedures including health and safety and employment
