Job Description

Office Angels are in search of an experienced Legal Secretary to join a well-established Scottish law firm based in the heart of Aberdeen City Centre. The role involves providing secretarial support and managing all conveyancing documentation/proceedings, whilst prioritising workload effectively.

Job Responsibility

  • Preparing and registering Dispositions
  • Preparing Discharges & LBTT documentation
  • Ordering redemption statements
  • Dealing with post-completion follow up documentation
  • Audio & Copy typing
  • Lodging Advance Notices
  • Updating clients on the progress of their case
  • Liaising with other parties to ensure deadlines are met

Requirements

  • Previous experience and knowledge of conveyancing work within the Scottish legal system
  • Knowledgeable in LBT
  • Copy/audio and dictation experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Nice to have

Experience from a Conveyancing or Private Client background
