We are looking for an experienced Part Time Leave of Absence Administrator to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for administering employee leave programs and ensuring compliance with relevant federal, state, and local regulations. Job Responsibility:
Administer employee leave programs, including Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Paid Parental Leave, and other applicable policies
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to employee benefits and leave of absence
Provide support and guidance to employees and supervisors throughout the leave process
Collaborate with internal teams to address gaps in benefits and leave administration
Maintain accurate records and documentation for leave requests and benefit programs
Develop and deliver presentations to communicate leave policies and procedures effectively
Utilize software systems, such as PeopleSoft and Microsoft Office, to manage benefits and leave processes efficiently
Stay informed on changes to laws and regulations affecting employee benefits and absence programs
Support the organization’s mission by fostering a supportive and equitable environment for faculty and staff
Perform additional duties related to benefits and leave administration as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration and absence management
Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and Section 125
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with software systems like PeopleSoft
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear presentations
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping abilities
Experience managing leave of absence programs, including multi-state leave processes
Ability to collaborate effectively with employees, supervisors, and internal teams
