Job Description:

We are working with a large, well-established primary school in Crawley, seeking a part-time Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support for children with SEN
  • Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
  • Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
  • Helping to build pupils’ confidence, independence, and social skills
  • Creating a positive, nurturing learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting children, ideally within a school setting
  • A patient, calm, and empathetic approach
  • Confidence working with children with additional needs
  • A team player with a proactive attitude
  • A genuine passion for making a difference
  • Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services
