Job Responsibility:

Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them
dusts furniture, walls, light fixtures
removes stains from rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions
mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications
cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment
gathers and empties trash
wipes and cleans tabletops and chairs
cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures
services, cleans, and supplies restrooms
cleans glass doors
keeps janitor’s closet neat and orderly and maintains equipment in good working order
requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
performs miscellaneous duties as assigned

Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older
no experience required and on the job training provided
no high school diploma, GED or college degree required
Customer service experience
1 year of similar work experience
